Hello all you beautiful people reading this update! So here's the deal: Vocal Point has been very busy preparing for this upcoming semester and we have two very major things going on right now in addition to our jam packed schedule of gigs and rehearsals. First, be on the look out for the new Vocal Point CD! We have been working on recording and everything is sounding awesome so we're all really excited. When exactly the CD will be released is yet to be determined...It could be next month, it could be next year, it could be when your grandkids graduate from UD but just know that we're working on it! The second order of business might involve you so listen up: VOCAL POINT IS HAVING OPEN AUDITIONS!!! Yes, the rumors are true, here is your opportunity to become part of one of the finest a cappella groups this campus has to offer. Auditions will be on Wednesday, February 13th at 7 pm in Amy E. DuPont Music Building, Room 207 and Thursday, February 14th at 7:30 pm in Trabant Room 206. We rehearse three nights a week and we sing a varied repertoire of music, including songs by contemporary artists and some older tunes. But more importantly, we love to sing and have fun, so come out and audition this Wednesday or Thursday... we can't wait to meet you!

Vocal Point's concert went great! Singin' in the rain, fun fun fun! Mitchell filled with umbrellas rain drops and a rockin audience! Releasing three more new songs for the semester, Summer sang "Say My Name" by Destiny's Child, Vanessa sang "Are you that somebody" by Aaliyah and Jo sang "Time of our lives" by Bonnie Rait. Everything went great and capped off an amazing year for Vocal Point. We will miss the Seniors Alfredo, Max, and Ryan but no worries they'll be back for future concerts! Thanks to all those who came out friends families and other groups especially the MelUDees for singing at our concert with us!

Delac was phenomenal! All the groups were great, it was an awesome showing of all the UD talent! Vocal Point Unleashed two new songs at Delac. Steve sang the JT/ N'Sync Medley and Megan sang Carrie Underwood "Before He Cheats" . Max also sang the VP classic "I write sins not tradgedies"! Thanks to all the groups for coming out, performing, and supporting and  a special thanks to the D Sharps and Vision for making it all possible!
